Oracle Calendar offers effecient group communication and collaboration across many platforms, including Windows, Mac, Unix (including Linux and Solaris), Pocket PC, and Palm.
Oracle Calendar features include the following:
- Maintain a personal online calendar and address book
- Track tasks, agendas, and notes
- Schedule meetings, events, and resources (such as conference rooms and overhead projectors)
- Email meeting invitations to people who are not Oracle Calendar users
- Accept, decline, or request to reschedule proposed meetings
- View other users' free or busy times
Besides using Oracle Calendar on your desktop at work and home, you can use the flexible web client anywhere. Oracle Calendar's flexible privacy settings, called access rights, allow you to choose who can access your calendar and what type of events they may see. By assigning designate rights, you may authorize another user to edit your calendar. When you are away from your home or work computer and need to access your calendar, you can always log in to Oracle Calendar on the web to view your agenda.
