VirusScan 8.7i

Available since August 14, 2009.

Supported on

Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 (SP4), Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008.

Installation

Download the VirusScan package from the University of Illinois WebStore. Double-click the installation file and follow the prompts. When the installation completes, click Yes to restart your computer.

About upgrading:
If you're upgrading from a different virus scanning program, you will need to uninstall your old antivirus software before installing VirusScan.

If you're upgrading from an older version of VirusScan itself, you don't need to uninstall it before installing the new version. The new version will remove the older version as part of its installation process.

Use

VirusScan 8.7i automatically scans your system at prearranged times and updates itself over the network. You don't need to change its configuration to use it; you can install it and leave it alone if you wish.
