Work Machine Emergency

This page contains information about what to do if you have a security problem with a work machine.

If you have a problem with your work computer, you may be able to get support from the system administrator or network administrator in your department. If you do not know who provides support in your department, call your department secretary or the CITES Help Desk at (217) 244-7000 for help identifying your department's IT support services.

When you call, be as specific as you can about the problem you are having, and be prepared for a Help Desk representative to ask you questions like:
